I am a artist living in Portland, Oregon. I draw, paint and create installations. I pull inspiration from nature and the built environment. Since moving from the east coast, I have focused my artistry subject on settings of my local environment and the challenges that come with depicting the orante complexities of our living places. In these pieces of work you will see depictions of daily life and surrounds of the Pacific Northwest, however my work is not limited to this place. Hopefully the viewer can connect with such unique compositions within a shared lens and feel warmth. Since moving to Portland I gained a grandeur appreciation or our natural landscape. I have been fascinated with depicting some of the areas local fauna, tree population and landscapes. My growth as an architectural draftsman allows me to dedicate a better understanding of two and three point perspectives. This practice and skill gives one more time to hone in on a balanced composition and a better orchestrated page for the viewer to move through the page.
