These arrays of flowers really captured my attention one afternoon. These peonies were sitting in the window of once flower bomb off Stark st. in Portland. I focused on shapes and gestures I was witnessing from the collection of flowers. One of my common techniques after water coloring is to finish a piece in pen and highlight some of those forms and movements I detected when starting the piece.
